DR MONICA MATHIAS DE FARIA WOULD EXPLAINS “ THE SEVEN SYMPTOMS OF EXHAUSTION EMOTIONAL”.

Seven (7) Symptoms of Emotional Exhaustion.  Have you ever felt so drained that you no longer have the motivation for activities that you enjoy doing?  Have you ever felt so discouraged that you no longer enjoy what you do and still feel that everything is irritating you?

These may be some symptoms of emotional exhaustion …

Emotional Exhaustion manifests itself through physical and psychic symptoms.  Inwardly it is felt as too tired, a feeling of emptiness and emotional instability, which is perceived by constant irritability, stress, bad mood and the desire to cry.  It can physically manifest itself through stomach pains, heartburn, insomnia, low immunity and stomach dysfunction.  Difficulties in concentration and memory are also frequently reported.  Here are some symptoms that are easily identified: 1 – Lack of energy

A person who is experiencing emotional exhaustion has great tiredness, fatigue and exhaustion.  The sensation is as if all the energies have been sucked out.

Here we are not talking about occasional fatigue, but about feeling constantly overwhelmed.

2 – Changes in sleep and appetite

Even sleeping at night all sleep seems to persist.  Tiredness and demotivation only gets worse during the day.  It seems difficult to start daily chores.

3 – Fall in labor income

The impression is that you don’t have the same motivation and speed as before.  It is difficult to suggest new ideas and follow meetings.  Tiredness impairs creativity and willingness to commit to something new, even if it is a task that one likes to do.

4 – Lack of Memory and difficulty making decisions

Forgetting important meetings and having difficulty memorizing new information are symptoms often cited by people with emotional exhaustion.  Usually the problem is in the difficulty of concentration that directly affects the memory.

5 – Loss of interest and pleasure in usual activities, with a tendency towards isolation

The priority is to stay at home and rest.  Going out with friends and doing different things is no longer exciting.  If you decide to leave the will is always to return as soon as possible.

6 – Easy crying, for no apparent reason

When there is an emotional lack of control in the face of a very small situation, it is a warning sign.  A person with emotional exhaustion has a great sensitivity for things that would not matter so much, such as: catching a very heavy traffic, arriving late at an appointment, dropping a drink on clothes, among other situations.  Compulsive crying and constant complaints are symptoms of exhaustion.

This is because the person is so tired mentally that he loses the ability to distinguish a problem that is easily resolved from something more serious.

7 – Negative thoughts

The emotionally exhausted person generally thinks that the chances of things going wrong for them are very high.  So you always focus on the negative side, in order to save yourself any frustration.  SOME PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION: Mônica Mathias de Faria (Psychologist / Psychotherapist / Floral Therapist and Hypnotherapist and Relationship Coach)                                                    E-Mail: monicamathias.psicologa@gmail.com Instagram:                                                                  https://instagram.com/drmonicamathias_faria.official.                                  LinkedIn:                                                                    http://linkedin.com/in/dramonicamathias                                                      Facebook:                                                                  https://www.facebook.com/drmonicamathiasdefaria/                                            Twitter:                                                                    Twitter.com/dra_mathias                                  YouTube:                                                                https://www.youtube.com/channel/.                                Whatsaap:                                                                  55 11 999747707
